SongbookPro Groups Set Up

As we move into 2025 we are going to utilize the “Groups” feature of Songbook Pro. The benefits of doing this include: 
1. This will resolve the sets syncing issue. 
2. This will provide you with more control over your personal SBP library.

We ask all group members to contribute $6 annually to cover the cost. 

Contact Joe to receive an email invitation to join SongbookPro Groups. To accept the invitation and enroll in the UkesRock Group Library, follow the instructions below.


To enroll:
Step 1: Accept SBP Group’s invitation email that you will receive.


Step 2: Follow the instructions to create your account within the SBP Group.
     (make a note of your password)


Step 3: Go to the SBP app on your device.


Step 4: Tap “settings” , tap “SBP Groups”, tap “login” 


Step 5: Enter the login information requested.

Once logged into Songbook Pro Groups, you will see the organization that you are enrolled in, UkesRock Groups Library.

Exit out of settings by hitting the back button in the upper left hand corner.

Up until this point, we have been using “Folders”. To view folders, click on “Songs” in the lower left corner of the sidebar menu. Hit the back arrow at the top left of the screen. Now you can see two options at the top of the sidebar menu, “Folders” and “Groups”.

Let’s talk about the difference between “Folders” and “Groups”.

Folders is your personal library. You can now add, delete and edit without sharing with everyone else.

This library does not sync anymore. 

Groups is now the song library that syncs with everyone in UkesRock.

Go into the “Advanced” section (under Settings) then scroll down to the “Optional” section, then click on “Enable SongbookPro Groups.” 

Back to the Settings top page “Songbook Pro Groups” was at the bottom of the list.

Back to “Songs” and you will see the two options at the top of the sidebar menu, “Folders” and “Groups”, is where you switch between libraries.
